Roger Hatch from Jonathan's House
SonRise
Community Church would like to thank Roger Hatch from
Jonathan's
House for Orphans for coming to speak with our church.
Jonathan's House, located in Sierra Leone, is dedicated
to "bringing hope to the hopeless" through
thier ministry in Africa. They offer a safe haven for
the children of the war-torn country, who no longer
have parents or family who is able to care for them,
and who would otherwise be left to a life on the streets.
Roger and his daughter, Kayla, gave wonderful
presentations on the children, the orphanage, and what
we, as Christians, can do to help these children. For

There's Always
More Time
Do
you believe that? Have you put off accepting Jesus Christ
as your savior or sharing the gospel with others because
you know there will always be more time?
Please read this letter that
may show you otherwise! It was written by one of our
dearest church family members while she was battling
cancer. Her greatest wish was to share the word of God
with everyone who would listen! She was brave and she
was a fighter, but on February 25th, 2005, at age 35,
this mother of two young boys left her physical body
and went to be with our Savior.
Her words will touch your heart and make you re-evaluate
where you are in Christ. Please feel free to share them
with those you care about. Believe me, it's what Tesha
would have wanted!
